Requisitos:

The successful candidate will teach students across the department, and especially our MSc in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies and MSc. Development Studies. They will have a background in Anthropology, Political Science, Sociology, or related disciplines. We especially welcome applicants with a research interest in the causes, consequences, and responses to conflict, violence, and crisis in the Global South, including themes such as social vulnerability and access to livelihoods, food security and hunger, gender, state capacity, environmental risks, and the political economy of crisis responses in an era of cuts to development aid. Ideally, candidates should have experience of empirical fieldwork-based research, and a desire to advance social science theory as evidenced by publications in highly rated social science and development journals or books.
