EU TalentOn contest 2026 – European Commission

Requisitos:

EU TalentOn is a competition for early-career researchers representing all disciplines of science, aged between 21 and 35. 

Initiated, funded and co-created by the European Commission and launched as a part of the 2022 European Year of Youth, EU TalentOn is a brainstorming scientific event for young talents. After a second edition in 2024 in Katowice, Brest, City of Science in 2026, will host the third edition of the competition. 

For one week, participants will have to challenge themselves, collaborate and work in multidisciplinary teams, brainstorm and come up with ideas and innovative scientific solutions for major global issues of today and tomorrow. 

5 Mission Arenas EU TalentOn is a programme addressed to researchers who are willing to bring modern ideas into one of the five missions of the European Union, including: 

• Adaptation to climate change 
• Cancer prevention and cancer patient care 
• Ocean and water restoration 
• Smart cities and transition towards healthy soils. 

Organised under the ‘Science Comes to town’ EU initiative, the contest aims to boost participants’ entrepreneurial spirit by providing them with an environment in which they can work together with international peers on pressing EU and global challenges. 

What if you’re selected? You will join 100 selected researchers from across Europe, travel to Brest (France) for free to work with your team on an innovative solution responding to a global challenge in any of the areas of the EU Missions: adaption to climate change, cancer prevention, ocean and water restoration, smart cities and transition towards healthy soils.
