Social Sciences – Assistant Professor (Sociology) – Laurentian University

Requisitos:
- A PhD in Sociology or a related field.
- Indigenous identity (First Nations, Metis and Inuit) with ties to their community on Turtle Island, and specialization in Indigenous scholarship, research and teaching preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in teaching undergraduate courses effectively, with a strong commitment to pedagogical and academic excellence, and promoting a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment.
- Extensive experience teaching foundational courses in sociology, including introductory sociology, sociological theories, and research methods.
- Evidence of relevant research and scholarship, with the potential to collaborate with colleagues and build interdisciplinary or intersectoral collaborations within and outside the university.
