Research Engineer in Cyber Range – Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST)

Requisitos: 

Education and qualification 

• Master’s degree or equivalent studies in computer sciences, preferable in IT security/cyber security 
• At least 3 years of experience in RDI 
• Successfully managed tasks in RDI projects of moderate size and scope 

Expertise and skills 

• Strong knowledge of Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, Proxmox, or similar), Containerization (e.g., Docker) and Cloud. 
• Strong knowledge in the programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Strong knowledge of REST API 
• Strong knowledge in the development of UI of Web-based application 
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, etc.) 
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet 
• Knowledge in cybersecurity, thread databases like MITRE or MISP 
• Proficiency on the performance of experiments/tests and the use of methods, techniques, software tools, or equipment. 

Language skills

• Fluent in English, written and oral
