Requisitos:

Qualifications and requirements: 

• A completed PhD in economics, development studies, sociology (with a focus on economic sociology) or political science (with a focus on comparative or international political economy) 
• Strong skills in quantitative social science research and data collection methods (e.g. statistical analysis or survey methodology), additional knowledge of qualitative methods is an asset 
• A concrete project idea that focuses on Russia’s economic development and economic policy-making 
• Additional research interests in the changing dynamics of Eurasian regionalism in the context of Russia’s war against Ukraine and/or Russia-China economic relations are an asset 
• Excellent written and spoken English and Russian; additional proficiency in a language spoken in the research region is an asset 
• Publication(s) in international journals with peer-review is an asset 
• Interest in working in a team and in an interdisciplinary research environment 
• Commitment to communicating research findings beyond the academic realm, in particular to policymakers and the wider public 
• Willingness to participate in the academic self-administration of the institute

– Cover letter explaining the candidate’s scholarly career, prior experience and skills relevant to the position (max 2 pages); – CV including a list of publications; 

– Description of a project to be pursued at ZOiS (max 4 pages including a short list of key references); 

– One writing sample (article- or chapter-length); 

– Relevant certificates/transcripts;
