Political Sociology Faculty Position – University of Prince Edward Island

Requisitos: 

The successful candidate will have a completed doctoral degree or ABD with defence imminent in Sociology, Political Science, Political Sociology, or a related field with preference given to candidates with a background in social policy. The candidate will also have a strong record of success in teaching at the undergraduate level, and a strong record of innovative research and publishing appropriate to this level of appointment.

• A complete application must include the following: 
• A cover letter outlining how the candidate would contribute to both departments of Sociology and Anthropology and Political Science in the areas specified above, 
• A curriculum vitae, 
• A teaching dossier (to include a statement of teaching philosophy, sample syllabi of courses and interdisciplinary courses in the subject area, and teaching evaluations or other evidence of teaching success), a research statement outlining current and future research projects, and three academic letters of reference.
