Requisitos:

Assistant Professor in European Politics and Policy

  • The successful candidate will have expertise and research interests in any field of European politics and policy-making, including  comparative politics, international relations, or public policy and will contribute to the MSc in European and International Public Policy and its associated Double Degree programmes. As part of a wider intellectual agenda in our politics and policy group, a research specialism with relevance for public policy is desirable. We are open as to the specific intellectual and methodological approach.
  • Candidates should show evidence of a trajectory of internationally excellent research, including the potential to publish in world-leading journals and/or academic presses; a well-defined and viable strategy for future research that has the potential to result in world-leading publications; and the ability and willingness to engage in high quality teaching on courses relevant to the MSc in European and International Public Policy.
  • Candidates will need to have a completed PhD, or PhD thesis submitted for examination, in political science or a related discipline, by the post start date.

Assistant Professor in Political Economy

  • The post holder will specialise in research on, and teach, the political economy of Europe and its international links, including with China.  The successful candidate will contribute to the MSc Political Economy of Europe and the World programme and its associated Double Degree programmes, in particular our double degree programme with Fudan University.
  • The post holder will conduct and publish world-leading research and engage in high quality teaching.
  • Candidates should have the ability to undertake research that has impact and ability to engage in knowledge exchange; show evidence of a well-defined and viable strategy for future research that has the potential to result in world-leading publications; and the ability and willingness to teach in the political economy of Europe and its international links, including with China.
  • Candidates will need to have a completed PhD, or PhD thesis submitted for examination, in political economy, or a related discipline, by the post start date
