Requisitos:

An ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching and will help to strengthen our global reputation. We expect applicants to have a Ph.D. in sociology at the time of appointment but applicants who have progressed to the point where completion of the Ph.D. is imminent and who demonstrate clear and superior promise of excellence in research will also be considered.

1. a CV;
2. a cover letter describing their interest in the position as well as a description of their research and teaching record and future plans;
3. a separate one-page statement identifying the applicant’s contributions, or potential contributions, to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) along with their ability to work with a culturally diverse and international student body;
4. two sample publications;
5. and a teaching portfolio which must include a statement of teaching philosophy and should include evidence of teaching effectiveness where relevant (e.g. student evaluations, peer assessments, graduate and/or undergraduate course syllabus).
