Politics Sessional Assistant Professor – York University (Canadá)

Requisitos:

• The successful candidate will have a PhD in Political Science and demonstrable excellence, or promise of excellence, in teaching and scholarly research. The candidate must be able to teach a variety of undergraduate courses in the field of Political Theory, including an introductory survey course on the History of Political Thought, and a selection of third- and fourth-year courses. Teaching at the intermediate and upper levels may include courses on toleration, sexual politics, psychology and politics, and modern/contemporary political thought.
• The successful applicant must have a record of recent relevant publications and conference presentations.
• Evidence of excellence in teaching or promise of excellence as appropriate to career stage will be provided through: a teaching philosophy and pedagogy statement; teaching accomplishments and pedagogical innovations including in high priority areas such as experiential education and technology enhanced learning; teaching evaluations; and strong letters of reference.
