Minimum qualifications include a doctoral degree in Political Science or a closely related field. We seek candidates who will contribute broadly to the delivery of curriculum in the Department’s academic concentrations (Political Science, International Relations, Canadian Public Policy, and Philosophy).
The successful candidate will be expected to mount an externally funded research program that includes both undergraduate and graduate students and will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in the above fields and Canadian Constitutional Law.

Process All applications must be submitted online and include a letter of application, a detailed curriculum vitae, a teaching dossier (statement of teaching philosophy, teaching accomplishments and pedagogical innovations, student and/or peer evaluations of teaching), a research dossier (statement of research and one sample publication, evidence of growing ability to establish and maintain an independent, externally-funded research program) and letters of reference (contact information for three references must be included – references for short-listed candidates will be contacted directly).
Candidates should also demonstrate and document a commitment to collegial and related service activities.
