Two full-time Postdoctoral Researcher Positions (m/f/d) – Leibniz-Institut für Ost- und Südosteuropaforschung (IOS)

Requisitos: We expect you to: 

• hold a very good doctorate in political science, international relations or related disciplines, including e.g. sociology, geography (political geography), economics (political economy), law, political anthropology; 
• have first internationally visible scientific publications (especially in international peerreviewed journals and publishers) as well as presentations; 
• use qualitative and/or quantitative methods of empirical social research in a confident manner; 
• have plans for further academic qualification (habilitation or equivalent); 
• have experience in knowledge transfer and science communication; 
• have experience in the acquisition and implementation of third-party funded projects is desirable; 
• have very good knowledge of English; good to very good knowledge of one or more Eastern and/or South-Eastern European languages; 
• knowledge of German is desirable or willingness to learn German; 
• be open to interdisciplinary collaboration and open science; 
• be open to interdisciplinary cooperation, flexible, communicative, reliable, able to work under pressure, and able to work in a team.
