Requisitos: 

Mandatory: 

• A PhD in political science, development studies, or related discipline – applicants close to completion of PhD will be considered but PhD must be received prior to appointment. 

• A strong, demonstrable commitment to research, with a record of publication in high quality peerreviewed journals and/or with high quality scholarly book publishers. 

• A proven record of high-quality university-level teaching. 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated enthusiasm to contribute to the social environment of the school and its students. 

• Research in an area that strengthens or strategically complements the existing research profile of the School. 

• Candidates must demonstrate how they can positively contribute to fostering an inclusive environment and a level of awareness of equality, diversity and inclusion. 

Desirable: 

• Evidence of a commitment to developing innovative approaches to teaching and learning. 

• Good international research network and international academic experience.

 • Evidence of potential to generate external research funding. 

• A profile in, or commitment to, engagement with the wider policy community and media.

 • Evidence of administrative and/or management experience relevant to the academic environment.

Applications will consist of a cover letter, in which the applicant will describe how their academic and research profile strategically complements or strengthens the profile of the school, a complete CV listing all research publications and research grants to date together with any publications submitted for publication but not yet published, and the names and the contact details of three potential referees.
