Requisitos:
Applicants must have an area of specialization in Canadian politics and/or public policy, with a focus on public law and judicial studies.
- The successful applicant must have or be very near completion of a PhD in Political Science, or a related discipline, by the time of the appointment.
- The applicant must also demonstrate a record of excellence in teaching and research and a willingness and ability to contribute to the department’s collegial and collaborative intellectual community as well as university-wide inclusive excellence goals and priorities.
- The successful applicant will teach seven (7) courses per year, principally at the undergraduate level, and play a leadership role in the delivery of the Honours Specialization in Public Law & Judicial Studies. The specific courses taught would be subject to negotiation, but a suggestive list includes: Force and Fear, Crime and Punishment; Constitutional & Public Law in Canada; Federalism; Honours Issues in Canadian Politics and Canadian Public Policy; Topics in Law & Policy; Charter of Rights and Freedoms; Judicial Studies.

- the names of at least three referees; letters of reference are not required and will not be reviewed at the application stage;
- the Department will request letters of recommendation from referees at later stages of the search process. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled.
