Chair of Comparative Politics (Full-time postdoctoral researcher and lecturer)

Requisitos:
To be eligible for employment, the applicant is expected to have finished (or almost finished) a doctoral degree in Political Science or in another Social Science with excellent results, preferably in the field of Comparative Politics. Applicants are expected to be highly proficient in oral and written English.
Proficiency in German is welcome but not a requirement. It however needs to be developed over the course of employment. In the selection of qualified candidates, particular attention will be paid to the applicants’ potential to conduct theory driven empirical research in the area of comparative politics documented by internationally visible publications and conference presentations. Weight will be accorded to skills in quantitative methods that have been successfully applied in prior work. Considerable weight will also be accorded to the applicants’ ability to work in groups and interact with colleagues.
