Adviser on Gender Equality – OSCE

Requisitos:

  • First-level university degree in gender studies, women’s studies, social sciences, political sciences, law studies, human rights, international relations or relevant related field;
  • A minimum of six years of professional experience in gender issues, human rights in relation to gender equality, combating violence against women and women’s empowerment;
  • Solid experience in programme management in bi- or multilateral development or other organizations, including field operations;
  • Experience applying international texts and conventions related to gender equality and concepts of technical co-operation;
  • Experience supporting human rights commitments and international practice on women’s empowerment, required;
  • Experience applying knowledge of methodology of gender analysis, gender audits and gender mainstreaming;
  • Experience applying conceptual and strategic skills to analyse and evaluate critical matters pertaining to a broad spectrum of gender related issues;
  • Professional fluency in English with excellent communication (both oral and written) skills; professional fluency in Russian would be an asset;
  • Demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity, and an ability to integrate a gender perspective into tasks and activities;
  • Ability and willingness to work as a member of team, with people of different cultural, and religious backgrounds, different gender, and diverse political views, while maintaining impartiality and objectivity;
  • Computer literate with practical experience using Microsoft applications.
