Research manager in the field of Belgian and European social inclusion policy, Research Institute for Work and Society (HIVA) – KU Leuven

Requisitos:
- You have a PhD in political, social or economic sciences (or equivalent).
- You have at least four years of relevant experience with Flemish, Belgian and European social policy.
- You have excellent methodological (especially statistical) skills and thorough knowledge of various statistical software packages: Stata, SAS, R, SPSS, etc.
- You are familiar with the theme of social inclusion. You are able to identify innovative research questions in this domain and put them on the research agenda.
- You are creative in conceptualising, developing and successfully completing research projects in a timely manner. You are able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- You have the necessary social and leadership skills to coach a small research team, collaborate in scientific networks and liaise with government agencies.
- You are entrepreneurial, sufficiently flexible to meet deadlines and you are not afraid of multi-tasking (combining different projects).
- You have commercial feeling for the acquisition of assignments and research funding. You think customer-oriented. You have good coaching and management skills for the efficient implementation of projects.
- You have a reasonable knowledge of Dutch and/or French. You have excellent written and oral skills in English (most research reports must be submitted in English). You have excellent presentation skills.
